Job description:
As a Web and Graphic Designer with WordPress expertise, you will be responsible for designing and implementing visually appealing and user-friendly websites. You will collaborate with our marketing team to create compelling graphics and layouts that align with our brand identity and enhance user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Web Design: Create visually stunning and responsive website designs using WordPress. Customize themes and templates to meet client needs.
2. Graphic Design: Develop engaging graphics for web, social media, and print, including banners, infographics, and promotional materials.
3. Content Management: Update and manage website content, ensuring that it is current, relevant, and optimized for SEO.
4. User Experience (UX): Conduct user research and testing to improve website usability and user satisfaction.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, development, and content teams to align design efforts with company goals and campaigns.
6. Brand Consistency: Maintain brand integrity by ensuring all design elements adhere to company standards and guidelines.
7. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve design-related issues and provide ongoing website support.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in web and graphic design, particularly with WordPress.
2. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools.
3. Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
4. Familiarity with SEO best practices and web analytics tools.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
6. A keen eye for aesthetics and details.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
1.
Experience with website performance optimization and analytics.
2. Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and plugins.
3. Basic understanding of UX/UI principles.
4. Portfolio showcasing previous web and graphic design projects.
