Job Description
We are seeking Mid-Level Software Engineers to join our team, which is responsible for maintaining and improving critical data infrastructure.
This role will focus on building scalable, secure, and efficient solutions to support data access, ingestion, storage, and compliance needs across various platforms.
You will contribute to a range of projects that include system migrations, data processing optimizations, and enhancing self-service tools .
This is an opportunity to work with a wide range of technologies while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve overall system performance and efficiency.
Candidate must be willing to work PST, MST, CST or EST standard business hours.
Key Responsibilities :
- Maintain and enhance data platforms to ensure stability, scalability, and security.
- Support system migrations (e.g., Spark jobs to Kubernetes), improving automation and minimizing manual steps.
- Build and maintain API integrations, enabling seamless data access and management.
- Collaborate on developing self-service tools and improving data compliance across systems.
Qualifications
Required Skills :
- Proficiency in Java (Java 17+), Python, or Scala.
- Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and infrastructure management.
- Familiarity with SQL, Presto, and data processing frameworks like Spark.
- Experience with version control systems like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
Nice to Have :
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React or Bootstrap.
- Experience with AWS.
- Knowledge of GraphQL, Kafka, or gRPC for API development and integration.
- Understanding of data compliance tools and metadata management.
