Solutions Architect Manager, AGS Tech LATAM CSC Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for experienced and motivated technical managers in Colombia to coach, grow, and partner with technically skilled, customer-facing Solutions Architects. You will help develop the industry’s best cloud-based solutions architects by enabling and coaching them on best practices, solution selling, presentation and speaking skills, as well as how to create and present architectures of widely varying size and complexity. In collaboration with the Inside Sales and Demand Generation Sales Teams, you will be assisting their efforts of qualifying and progressing for new business and acquiring a broad set of new customers in a diverse customer base.

This role will be responsible for a team of Solutions Architects who will need to learn the breadth of the AWS platform quickly and each develop depth in one or more area. As their leader you must be passionate about developing these professionals and working to advance them into more senior and complex roles.
This role focuses on targeted technical marketing campaigns, solution demos, virtual conference speaking engagements, and more. Key job responsibilities 1. Hire, on-board, train, and develop new Solution Architects from internal and external sources.
2. Act as a conduit and liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support. 3. Build and coach the team on the skills needed to conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions so they can transfer deep technical skills to customers who are considering or using AWS. 4.
Must be passionate about developing early-in-career talent.
5. Relevant experience in design/implementation/consulting experience of distributed applications, infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking. 6. Relevant experience management of technical, customer facing resources. 7. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, math or related field.

Basic Qualifications 1. 2+ years of experience leading and growing teams of senior technology professionals. Relevant experience in management of technical, enterprise customer facing resources.

2+ years' experience design/implementation/consulting experience of distributed applications. 3. High level of comfort communicating effectively across internal and external organizations, with both technical and non-technical audiences. 4. Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
5. Ability to speak in public and in front of an audience is a big plus. 6. Technical degree required (or equivalent work experience); Computer Science background highly desired. Preferred Qualifications
1. Passion for leading diverse teams. 2. Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies. 3. Experience working within education or NPO focused customers or partners.

History of successful technical consulting and/or architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises. 5. Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud. 6. Professional experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS.
7. Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers. 8. Strong verbal and written communications skills and the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
