Assists the cloud security architecture in designing and engineering secure cloud solutions and ensuring all the security cloud security controls and requirements are designed and part of the cloud solution. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Responsible for securing the organization's assets in the cloud IAW governance laws, regulatory compliance, and standards.
2. Assists in designing and engineering cloud security infrastructure and cloud services. 3. Responsible for development and validation of cloud security policies, standards, and best practices. 4. Responsible for development of the cloud architecture strategy, establishing governance, facilitating adoption and execution.
5. Research emerging cloud security solutions,
assess the relevance and potential value to the organization, and present information to senior management and peers. 6. Assist in the development of the cloud security roadmap. 7. Embed cloud security capabilities into organizational-level business requirements and initiatives.
8. Participate in the Center of Excellence Council and ensure cloud security requirements are implemented in all cloud solutions and initiatives. Education Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or related field. Experience
1. 6 (six) years of experience working within Information Technology areas. 2. 2 (two) years of experience working with public cloud platforms. 3. 4 (four) years of experience working in Cybersecurity Architecture and Engineering in a complex technology environment.
Certifications and Licenses The following Certifications and Licenses are preferred but not required: 1. CompTIA Cloud+
2. AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Professional 3.
Microsoft AZ 303, or 304 4. Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA'S)

Strong technical acumen: Knowledge of Information Security and Information Technology concepts.
Ability to write technical instructions using programs and technology. Robust knowledge of applicable local and federal laws, regulations, and guidelines. 3. Communication skills:

Ability to foster trusting relationships with colleagues and clients. Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, strong ability to communicate ideas (storytelling). Presents numerical data effectively.
Superior communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent report-writing and presentation skills. Polished in preparing presentations, summaries, and reports for all audiences.
4. Analytical skills: Stays focused on main issues, prevents irrelevant issues or distractions from interfering with timely completion of assignments. Collects, researches, and complements data; synthesizes complex or diverse information. Demonstrates attention to detail; applies design principles; generates creative solutions.
Strong quantitative, research, and analytical skills. Experience with data analysis, persuasive and informative writing, workload management, and process management. 5. Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; develops alternative solutions.
6. Project Management: Ability to prioritize and work with multiple projects and tasks with minimum supervision; self-direct and task switch between strategic and tactical initiatives regularly. Capacity to achieve results according to plan ensuring the expected quality. Excellent organizational capacity to define priorities, meet deadlines, and flexible to change.
Knowledge on project coordination, identification of business needs, work plan, budget control, time management,
resource allocation, team management, and status reports. Must demonstrate leadership, logic, and reasoning skills. 7. Operational/Regulations Processes: Knowledge of budget administration, resources allocation, organizations policies, and regulations.
Ability to establish, conduct, and track operational processes properly. 8. Computer and Technological Skills: Proficient in MS Office 365. Experience with data management tools such as Power Pivot, Power BI, among others is desired.
