As a Backend Engineer, you will encounter challenges that extend beyond the ordinary, involving algorithm design and the development of scalable and efficient applications. You will be tasked with managing architecture built on microservices, asynchronous communication, and data streaming.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to optimize processes handling large volumes of data within tight timeframes.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the optimization of performance and scalability of our services.
- Engage in code reviews and brainstorming sessions to continually enhance our development processes and practices.
- Collaborate with the team to design and implement new features and enhance existing ones.
- Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of backend components for our applications.
- Monitor the status of core services in our operations.
Your experience has been shaped by:
- Proficient in developing applications using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Extensive experience working with both relational databases such as PostgreSQL and non-relational databases like Firestore.
- Strong command of Source Control Management (Git, Github).
- Thorough knowledge of design patterns, architectures, and object-oriented programming.
- Native Spanish and B2 English level.
- Ability to tackle complex problems and propose innovative solutions.
- Deep understanding of algorithms and optimization techniques.
- Capable of producing code with impeccable quality, security, and readability.
- Passion for comprehending the product and business.
- Exceptional ability to propose assertive and viable ideas.
- Eagerness to learn and thrive in the realm of backend development.
- Enjoys collaborative teamwork.
- Passion for staying abreast of the latest trends and best practices in development.
