States, Canada, and Dominican Republic) and more than 400 full-time employees, Fusemachines seeks to bring its global expertise in AI to transform companies around the world. About the Role: The position is a remote, 3 months contract-based engagement (with a possibility of extension). About you:
1. 7+ years of experience in AI and machine learning, model building, and strong coding skills in Python. 2. Master's or Ph. D. degree in Computer Science, Statistics,
Mathematics, or a related field. 3. Deep understanding of NLP including text classifier, re-ranker, topic modeling.
4. Experience working directly with large language models and Transformer-based architectures including BERT, RoBERTa, T5, etc. 5. Working knowledge of applying recent LLMs including ChatGPT, GPT 3.5, OPT, BLOOM, etc. 6. Experience with reinforcement learning, prompt engineering, hallucination mitigation, DevOps repos, debugging, building APIs, and managing the algorithm flow across multiple work streams in one repo.
7. Experience working with large datasets and distributed computing systems (e.g., Hadoop, Spark). 8. Excellent communicator, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 9. Strong work ethics and dedication to the project's success.
10. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box. 11. Collaborative behavior, ability to efficiently share code and knowledge, and good teamwork. Responsibilities:
1. Research, development, and implementation of algorithms and models to solve business challenges. 2. Design and execute experiments to evaluate the performance of models and iterate on them to achieve state-of-the-art results. 3. Utilize
Large Language Models (LLM) or similar architectures to build scalable and efficient solutions. 4. Collaborate with software engineers to integrate solutions into production systems and ensure scalability and reliability.
