This role involves using a risk-based methodology to perform detailed technical analysis of cybersecurity risks, implementing security requirements for integrated systems, and advising stakeholders on defense-in-depth strategies. The Cyber Security Specialist will lead large-scale security projects, conduct urgent security testing and risk assessments, analyze security breaches, document corporate security policies, develop security awareness training, and coordinate security plans with third-party suppliers or cloud service providers. This position also provides guidance to Analysts and Specialists.

4. Work Schedule: 8 AM PST to 5 PM PST, preferred 5. Required Education: Minimum Required: Bachelor’s degree Preferred: Master's degree 6. Required Branches of Study: Prefer Cyber security certificates like CISA, CISSP
7. Technical Skills: Infrastructure: Servers, VMs, Network, application architecture Cyber Security: Vulnerability Management, scanning tools, processes OS Vulnerabilities: Linux and Wintel: Kernel, patch levels, common issues Cloud: AWS basics Excel: Reports, lookups, pivots, summarize data, POWER BI (plus) Vulnerability Scanning: Using tools (Currently EVM, Qualys, Wiz) or similar scanning tools/systems 8. Leadership and Project Management: Ability to lead OS or non-OS patching efforts across the enterprise (Java, .NET, WebSphere, MQ, other middleware) Ability to lead medium or large enterprise-wide projects, engage multiple groups, conduct presentations, and meetings Willingness to work off hours, as needed 9. Soft Skills:
Strong communication skills for engaging internal and external stakeholders
