As part of local subsidiaries or Digital Sales centers around the world, you will support a dedicated set of customers in achieving their business objectives through best-in-class digital engagement and partner co-selling.

As the Azure Specialist Sales Manager - Small, Medium, Corporate (SMC), you will lead a team of Azure Specialists to provide and sell best-in-class cloud services to our managed customers.

This role requires a great sales coach and leader who has a challenger mentality and contributes with vision and flawless execution of solution sales.

Responsibilities

People Management

Sales Execution







- Bring impactful industry insights into customer engagements and close deals while coaching and influencing others internally.

- Lead a team to support account teams and drive conversations with strategic/high-potential customers.

- Coach the team to collaborate with partners and other internal teams.

- Guide the team on communicating with customers to understand their business needs.

- Engage C-Suite decision makers for strategic customers to support teams on opportunity discovery.

- Develop strategies for driving and closing strategic opportunities.

Scaling and Collaboration

- Build a network of partners to cross-sell, up-sell, and co-sell.







- Establish approach and practices to promote communication and collaboration across functions.

Technical Expertise

- Support the team on participating in Microsoft events.

- Coach on business and market knowledge.

Sales Excellence

- Build and transform new markets by leveraging technical and industry expertise.

- Promote development of deep and influential relationships with client contacts.

- Participate in regular strategic planning for the assigned territory.

- Guide team in whitespace analysis to identify potential business.

- Ensure team meets sales targets and operational standards.

- Complete required training and obtain relevant product and role certifications.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications







- 11+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience

- OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 8+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

- 15+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience

- OR Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or related field AND 12+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience

- OR Master's Degree in Business Administration (e.g., MBA), Information Technology, or related field AND 10+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience

- 10+ years of services sales or account management experience.







- 5+ years people management experience.
