We are looking for an outstanding SeniorData Scientist to join BairesDev’s Research & Development Team(R&D;).
This professional will use data and machine learningtechniques to help the business automate and scale decision-making,mainly by producing advanced data analysis reports and data-basedmodels to infer and predict patterns.
What You Will Do : - Help toimprove data literacy and the overall analytical environment acrossthe company. - Handle both structured and unstructured data usingSQL and other programming languages.
- Perform advanced dataanalysis and report results. - Tell the story behind data in acompelling manner for business people.
- Build predictive modelsand machine-learning algorithms. - Combine models through ensemblemodeling. - Propose solutions and strategies to businesschallenges.
- Help to design and execute experiments for hypothesistesting. - Participate actively in discussions and decisionsregarding the whole Data Science / Data Engineer chapter.
- Collaborate with data product managers to build awesome dataproducts. - Work with management to prioritize business andinformation needs.
- Help to spread a data-driven mindset and toimprove data literacy. Be a data evangelist. Here's what we'relooking for : - 3+ years of experience with Data Science / DataEngineer, machine learning, IA, statistical, and other relatedareas.
- Proficiency with SQL. - Proficiency in Python, R, oranother major programming language. - Excellent communicationskills, and capacity to collaborate and build relationships withnon-technical users.
- Strong knowledge of probability andstatistics, including experimental design, predictive modeling,optimization, and causal inference.
- Hands-on experience withmachine learning, like regression classification, clustering,neural networks, feature selection, cross-validation, the curse ofdimensionality, bias-variance tradeoff, model explainability, NLP,etc.
Desirable :
- Experience with people analytics or growth. -Experience with data visualization tools. - Good understanding ofthe engineering challenges to deploying machine learning systems toproduction.
