Position Title: Senior Full Stack Developer (Java and Angular) Location: Hybrid - Medellin, Colombia What you will be doing:
Extensive experience promoting and working with test driven development Hands-on participation in design, coding, testing, and deploying systems Mentoring and encouraging other developers Experience with various back-end micro-services frameworks (Spring, Helidon) Strong experience working with Angular front-end Promoting a DevOps culture which drives continuous delivery Improving and promoting Agile SCRUM practices Improving existing architectures as business needs and tech stacks evolve Working effectively with remote and internal development teams Required Skills & Experience: BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related subject Proven hands-on Software Development experience, 10+ years Proven experience in Java and Web development technologies, 3+ years Profound insight of Java internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc) Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, Oracle, SQL and ORM technologies (Hibernate, iBatis)
Strong knowledge of JavaScript and popular JavaScript libraries Working knowledge of REST frameworks Experience with WebSphere application server and embeddable web servers Experience with containers, and cloud operating environments (AWS, Azure, OCI) – OCI is a plus Experience with cloud native technologies – FaaS, DaaS, Kafka – is a plus Experience with Maven, Git and GitHub Experience with Atlassian tools (Confluence, Jira) Experience with Jasper Reports Experience working with front-end on Angular, 5+ years Nice to haves: Experience in Supply Chain Logistics is a plus Experience in development of Warehouse Management systems is a plus Experience interfacing with autonomous control systems is a plus Working knowledge of C programming in the Unix/Linux environment.
