Full-Stack Software Engineer (Bogota, Colombia - Remote Role Possible)

Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications using PHP and Laravel.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
3. Write well-organized, efficient, and clean code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
4. Utilize MySQL for database design, optimization,
and maintenance.
5. Develop deep expertise in reporting for the business and Google Analytics.
6. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
7. Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends, recommending and implementing improvements to existing systems.
Requirements:
- 4+ years experience as a Full-Stack Software Engineer with a focus on PHP and Laravel development.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Solid understanding of MySQL, Elasticsearch, and Redis.
- Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services, including EC2, CloudFront, Fargate, RDS, Route53, and Load Balancing.
- Experience working with a remote team environment and Git best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Proficiency in React is highly desirable.
