As Associate Business Operations Analyst, you will be principally responsible for helping drive the transformation of the procurement efforts into to a cost-effective and process-efficient best practices function serving the entire Product Development and Delivery organization.



In this role, you will be involved in several areas:



Strategic Sourcing Support





- Analyzing organizational spend trends to determine Strategic Sourcing opportunities

- Implementing Strategic Sourcing events, workshops, and activities for targeted spend categories to improve transparency and reporting

- Developing business cases and presenting recommendations to business leaders

- Conducting vendor and supplier analyses, evaluating potential vendors, and supporting the vendor qualification process by utilizing metrics, tools, and processes to optimize sourcing and supplier activities

- Ensuring optimized organizational spend value through careful analysis and review of sourcing activities

- Identifying opportunities to reduce billable and fixed rates, maintenance and support costs, and license fees

- Implementing approved process changes

- Managing the Request for Proposal (RFP) process on behalf of business leaders



- Seeking internal and external stakeholder input

- With guidance and input from procurement and business leaders, drafting and posting formal RFP documents

- Conducting proposal evaluation and recommendations

- Serving as primary contact with suppliers/program implementers





Contract Management Support





- Assisting with contract terms and pricing with vendors, including:



- Developing negotiation strategy for contracts with guidance from Procurement management and Business Owners

- Assisting in negotiations for complex vendor or supplier contracts

- Partnering with legal team to ensure contracts meet risk requirements and compliance standards





Administration/Operations Support





- Supporting and managing a data repository and business intelligence tools

- Releasing accurate, error-free reports on time to meet business needs

- Defining, measuring, and tracking categories for spending to provide targeted analyses of budget

- Coordinating payment, delivery, scheduling, and organization of purchases, and placing orders to ensure ongoing supply

- Overseeing all activities related to procurement of high-impact commodities and services, from intent to purchase through delivery

- Supporting the implementation of new and the management of existing supplier relationships

- Acting as primary operator of Procure-to-Pay system (Oracle Cloud)



- Issuing and managing Requisitions and Purchase Orders

- Registering new suppliers, coordinating the gathering and inputting of all required documents

- Collaborating with accounts payable to resolve outstanding invoice issues





The Candidate



Required skills/qualifications:





- Experience with an Oracle ERP system (or similar Oracle, Peoplesoft, SAP)

- Advanced technical experience with Microsoft Office Suite especially MS Excel

- Minimum of 1-2 years professional work-related experience in a relevant technical discipline where analysis of key data drives decisions of financial significance

- Excellent prioritization, problem-solving, and written and oral communication skills

- Superior strategic sourcing experience involving spend analysis and complex, fact-based negotiation

- Exceptional ability to engage with executives within and outside the company

- Fluency in written and spoken English at CEF B2 level or above





Preferred Skills/qualifications





- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, or related field

- Experience and strong understanding of legal contract terms and conditions

- Experience administering RFPs

- Experience with international purchasing and logistics

- The ability to communicate efficiently and with confidence
