Job Description
The primary responsibility is to ensure that the franchise is meeting goals that contribute to the overall success of our company. The scope of this position includes: leadership of a cross functional team (sales, marketing, digital, access, policy and medical), developing his/her team members, leading the marketing planning and launch preparations, new business generation, value proposition preparation, Profit and Loss accountability, developing and maintaining customer relationships, establishing the yearly business plan,
overseeing activities to ensure good customer activation and service.
The Franchise Manager role will have people management responsibility.
Accountabilities:
Deploy customer campaigns in order to reach franchise goals. Must be an expert in consumer activation. Develop pre:launch, launch and ongoing strategies and full marketing plans and financials in support of this Responsible for managing promotional budgets and achieve sales targets. Lead and manage the Brand within the Product Lifecycle Planning team and Business Unit. Leadership and Project management to ensure brand deliverable, project actions and milestones are effectively delivered Driving analysis and planning for the Brand. This includes pre: launch planning, and implementation of sales promotion and communication across the stakeholder ecosystem. Effective leadership of cross functional teams to ensure that objectives are aligned for the achievement of business goals. Responsibility for working across brands and indications to optimize brands at the different stages of the life cycle. Monitoring of environmental trends and taking appropriate action to leverage or address these for the good of the brand. Competitor intelligence analysis and the incorporation of insights into brand strategies. Analyzing market trends and sales potential : preparing sales forecasts for use in planning manufacturing operations and inventory control. Evaluating the effectiveness of activities including communication, promotion and advertising programs and making improvements or changes as necessary. Ensuring all business activity complies with relevant Acts, legal and ethical standards. Effectively managing the promotional budget and deploying resources as and when necessary to optimize the business. As relevant, coaching and developing direct reports. In partnership with Medical Manager, responsible for Key Opinion Leader accountability.
Skills, Knowledge, Experience, Qualifications Required for the Role
This role requires a very experienced marketer working in the field or Public / Institutional (High Cost) products, and a minimum of 5 years overall commercial experience and will possess a Bachelors Degree of higher. The successful candidate will have experience from pre:launch through to launch planning on a significant brand. Must be an expert in consumer activation. Understanding the distinctive nuances of working in the field. The candidate will be highly skilled across all facets of marketing planning and implementation, financial analysis and forecasting, as well as scientific leader engagement. Additionally the candidate will possess very strong leadership, collaboration and presentation skills, customer focus plus the ability to communicate well with key opinion leaders and all levels of management. The candidate will have demonstrated ability to work to solutions in complex organizations and lead teams in support of key marketing and life cycle strategy areas.
