4705 Bogota or others Position: Business Development Manager in Colombia (Sales Manager)

We have clients in the US, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia and other countries in Latin America and Europe, making us one of the leading IT service providers and an excellent place to work. We are looking for a seasoned, proactive and well connected at C:Level professional to lead our sales initiatives in Colombia.
Manage and grow different accounts (clients) performing upsell, cross:sell activities in Colombia and the Andean region.
Sales Quota responsibility, at Country level (Colombia).
Perform lead generation activities
Meet face to face with C:Level clients to proactively sell our IT staffing services through tangible value.
Search and bring new clients
Coordinate candidate interview calls with clients
Update our internal databases and systems.
Submit candidates profiles to several potential clients and job:boards.
Provide support with the on:boarding process
Edit and improve candidates resumes if needed.
Update candidate information in several portals
Skills and Qualifications
Needs to have current, active and extensive collaboration network as this position requires to bring new clients not only in Colombia but also in countries located south of Mexico and north of Brazil as well.
Proactive and get it done attitude
Excellent multitasking skills (needs to feel very comfortable handling multiple activities at the same time)
Ability to work from home and without direct supervision.
Ability to work under pressure with a high sense of urgency
Strong ethics and values
Advanced knowledge in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPoint)
Proficient in web portals navigation.
Ability to rapidly learn the use of new technologies, programs and apps.
Education and experience
This position requires a bachelors degree
Demonstrated experience managing client relationships (account management).
At least 7 years of sales experience (cold calling, negotiation, quotes, sales process management) including meeting or exceeding quotas.
Experience dealing with people from different nationalities/cultures.
Superb English and Spanish communications skills (oral and writing)
General knowledge of IT platforms
Needs at least 10 years of professional experience
