This Manager is responsible for generating and integrating key customer insights to shape regional strategies for pharmaceutical products in Latin America, based on market research, forecasting and competitive intelligence methodologies.

As a core Integrated Brand Value Team (IBVT) member, this role is a strategic partner to the regional Marketing lead. He/she serves as the “voice of the customer” to the IBVT team. As such, the candidate must be able to facilitate and lead discussions with cross-functional teams, evaluate implications and generate recommendations based on insights.

In addition to technical proficiency with a range of primary research methodologies and secondary data analysis, the candidate must be able to clearly understand and articulate key business questions & determine the methodology best suited to meet those objectives and ensure optimal study design and execution.

As a core IBVT member, this position requires the candidate work collaboratively with his/her marketing team(s) as well as other cross-company and cross-functional partners. Due to the nature of the work, the incumbent must be able to manage complexity and think analytically, prioritize work and allocate resources accordingly. The job requires an understanding of marketing and science. In addition, the incumbent will ensure compliance policies are followed.

Qualifications

Candidate must be able to develop and execute innovative and novel approaches for insight generation when and where appropriate. Hands on experience designing, implementing, and presenting a range of primary and/or secondary market research methodologies is preferred. Experience with secondary data sources and modeling is preferred.

Experience in the healthcare industry is required. A solid understanding of the drug development and commercialization lifecycle is strongly preferred.

The ability to think analytically and apply good business judgment, as well as being capable of leading cross-functional teams of people is required.

Strategic thinking, collaboration and teaming and strong communication skills (written and oral) are required.

Strong project management skills, i.e., the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and requirements simultaneously, are required.

The ability to influence and impact others through building and defending arguments and reaching consensus is strongly preferred.

A minimum of 5 years of progressive business experience in relevant areas such as Market Research, Forecasting, Advanced Analytics, Finance, Marketing Science and/or New Business Development is required.

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.

Written and spoken proficiency in English required. Additionally, working knowledge of Spanish and/or Portuguese preferred.



The position will be based in one of the Locations below and will require travel (up to 50%)

Sao Paulo, Mexico City, Bogota, Buenos Aires, Panama City. US -- Miami, New Jersey.
