Job Purpose and ImpactThe Finance Planning and Reporting Manager for Cargill's Agricultural Supply Chain (CASC) business in South America will help drive business growth by creating a seamless financial planning and analysis experience that integrates planning, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting. In this role, you will manage a team of finance professionals to ensure effective business operation in collaboration with finance leaders. You will lead modernization, simplification and standardization and build new capabilities for the process of planning, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting for the CASC business in South America while delivering day to day support to the business.Key AccountabilitiesLead the design,
development and implementation of value added, forward looking, centralized, global end to end processes for planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting for the assigned business group or function and provide external insights to drive targeted actions when needed.Drive standardization and simplification of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes in partnership with cross functional business teams to define key business drivers, key performance indicators, prioritization, end to end process improvement and technology modernization.Collaborate across finance and with other business partners to lead design and execution of the monetization of integrated business planning and integrated operating review for the business group.Act as an essential liaison on behalf of planning and reporting organization towards a global segment leader to deliver best in class planning and reporting services in partnership with other team members to help the global segment grow and achieve key results.Review and analyze regular financial performance reports, consult on key assumptions and identify opportunities for growth to strategic area partners and business leaders.Establish and govern data hierarchies and key performance indicators to enable effective and efficient tools, models and reports to ensure accuracy and transparency with strategic finance partners and cross function business teams.Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.QualificationsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experienceSolid experience in finance planning and reporting operationsFluent in EnglishPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree or other post-secondary degree in finance, economics or accountingPrevious managing experienceSolid work experience in a global matrixed organizationExperience integrating and interpreting disparate sources of data by leveraging a broad range of analytical data tools, statistical methodologies and predictive modeling techniquesExperience in international business management and issues, including global supply chains, multiple currency environments, commodity and financial riskDesirable fluent Spanish/Portuguese as non native language“At Cargill, everyone matters and everyone counts.
