DevOps Criteria and Credentials:The DevOps Engineer Associate is responsible for implementing, supporting, and discovering industrystandards and best practices. The DevOps Engineer Associate will perform deployments of applications tomultiple environments as well as provide user support to our customers. This DevOps Engineer Associate willalso be responsible for resolving issues in application environments. In addition, the DevOps EngineerAssociate will assist with the overall infrastructure of the project, including the coordination of environmentinfrastructure upgrades.





The DevOps Engineer Associate will assist in defining develop processes andprocedures to enhance the development environment through automation.Criteria of experience to include:? Support as a member of a team following a well-defined Agile SDLC.? Understand source and version control tools. Emphasis on Microsoft Azure DevOps includingGit/TFVC, Visual Studio, Git Bash, or Git for Windows is a plus.? Execute any SDLC tasks, including (but not limited to) merge, build, release, operations, andday to day maintenance and administration.? Installation and configuration of software in virtualized environments to ensure highAvailability. High focus on Windows OS but some Linux/Unix support.? Support product development teams in the delivery of continuous integration, continuousdeployment.? Experience automating with Terraform, Ansible, Packer, PowerShell, Bash, YAML, JSON,Nexus or industry equivalent is a plus.? An understanding of Azure and AWS working environments, Docker related experience is aplus.? Understanding of Active Directory Administration including management of groupmembership in team supported OU.? Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills and the ability to find enterprise solutions andcomfortable thinking out of the box.? Participate in after hours maintenance when necessary, respond to emergencies.? Participate in customer calls when called upon in support of initiatives and incidentresponse.? Ability to support within On-Call rotation requiring periodic weekend deployment support.o On-call rotation, based on skills and understanding, can start 6-8 months of joiningthe team and is around once per 6-7 weeks (subject to change – based on staff).Hours of Coverage:Monday through Friday, forty (40) hours per week.TELUS International will provide work schedules conducive to meeting customer demand, which fluctuate onan on-going basis. Such schedules will be updated from time-to-time. Hours of coverage may include any orall of the following US holidays: President’s Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving Day, Independence Day,Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. The daily timings are on average relative to business hours in the PacificTime Zone
